A secure home is a key to the future!

This Autumn, we had a fantastic opportunity to exhibit and to attend various specialised exhibitions across the UK.

Firstly, we exhibited at the Homebuilding and Renovating show, which was held at the London ExCel arena. This particular show is a place for all attendees to seek out hundreds of companies and brands that bring thousands of products, from traditional hand-crafted materials to on – trend security technologies.

This year, Abel has worked closely with a creative design agency to develop an interactive trade show stand, which incorporates all of our security and smart home systems. These systems include; intruder alarms, CCTV, fire systems and access control, all the way through to home automation products. This created live, visual resources for consumers to understand the current trends of the security industry and smart home innovation.

The second stop for us, was exhibiting at UK Construction Week at the NEC in Birmingham, which is the UK’s largest build environment event comprising a selection of diverse shows and sectors including Build, Building Tech, Civils, Energy & HVAC, Surface & Materials and Timber.

The event brings together home owners and all stakeholders within construction.

During our time exhibiting at the NEC, It was good for both Lee Milne (Fleet Manager) and Tricia Thorpe (HR Manager) to venture out of head office to attend the Fleet Live show!

“This event was a great opportunity for both of us to keep up-to-date with the changing face of Fleet Management, with lots of exhibitors displaying useful products that can enhance our business and enthusiastic speakers in the seminars helping us to better understand our obligations and responsibilities in the world of fleet”.

In conclusion, plenty of great ideas to bring back to Abel.
