Abel Alarm supports Rainbows Hospice
4 February 2014
Abel have started to introduce Mercedes Citan Vans to our company fleet, and as part of their franchise promotion we were presented with an IPad, therefore the directors decided to donate this to Rainbows Hospice.
Rainbow opened it's doors in 2004 as a charity that supports children and young people to the age of 30 through life threatening illnesses in the East Midlands. In addition they also provide advice and help to families in coping with the difficulties faced through the hardest times including bereavement.
A considerable amount of Rainbow funding is through charitable events and donations, and on this occasion we invited Mrs Claire Herrick, who is a part of the Corporate Events Team at Rainbow, to receive our donation on their behalf. The presentation was carried out by Mrs Eyre, Director of Abel Alarm, and to our delight was very well received. It's great to know that this will be used to it's full potential by both patients and families whilst receiving care at the hospice.
